After School Opportunities

Today’s youth are growing up in a world filled with challenges and pressures, often leaving them feeling disconnected and overwhelmed. Research is clear: one of the strongest predictors of positive mental health is having caring, consistent relationships with supportive adults.

That’s where you come in. We’re looking for volunteers who are willing to invest in the lives of our 5th-8th grade youth in after school support from 3:30-5:30pm. Make an impact and sign up here.

Meet Matt JanecekAfterschool Program Mentor
Husband and father to seven bio kids. Matt a trauma-informed educator and coach. His mission is to help organizations and families promote felt-safety, connection, and healing through the integration of TBRI and Biblical principles. With years of hands-on experience and a deep conviction that every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and understood, I work alongside leaders and caregivers to implement practical strategies that restore connection and empower growth. Whether I’m training staff, leading workshops, or consulting one-on-one, my heart is to help others build environments where compassion, connection, and trust thrive.
