Grace Based Parenting
Grace Based Parenting is intended for parents with children of any age. Facilitator Krysta Winter is the Clinical Director and has worked in the field since 2012 and has a passion for working with youth and their families. Krysta’s heart is to see individuals find healing and growth in their relationship with Christ, no matter what the trauma or challenge has been in their past. Krysta is bold to share that our past does not define us, and God has the ultimate purpose for our life and for the family as a whole. We can all experience a life filled with love, value, living with intentionality and productivity, and in safe and trusting relationships.
Spiritual Mentor Program
Criteria:
- Spiritual mentors but be 21+
- Pass a background check
- Frequency of meetings can range from once per week to once per month
Spiritual Mentors will walk alongside youth and adults and become part of a care team with the case therapist as they journey with clients through life. Mentors will discuss their story and faith and have access to structured materials. Mentors will provide a nonjudgmental stance and provide a safe environment where clients can share their story and their understanding of Scripture. Mentors will provide support to the client through life’s many twists and turns, as well as identify the truth of how God sees us and assist clients in claiming one’s identity as a child of God.

Teen Team
(Open to parents, mentors, and community members)
“Teen Team” is the name of Breakthrough’s presentation style meetings. These no cost, virtual meetings are open to Breakthrough client parents, mentors, and other community members.

Youth Service
(Limited to current Breakthrough clients)
During previous school years, Breakthrough has brought students to various institutions to volunteer and/or learn about potential careers. Breakthrough strives to have a volunteer/career learning event once per month. Additional information will be sent to clients, as well as parent/guardian permission forms, when these events are scheduled.
